In collaboration with Minova Technology we provide a variety of contactless readers

MCR04 Contactless MIFARE Reader

MCR04L series contactless card readers are MIFARE® standard devices with all read-write capabilities with graphical LCD screen and Ethernet connection. Device can query a contactless card’s unique ID from a remote database equipped with web server with built in HTTP web service client functions and can retrieve LCD texts, audible alert commands or relay output commands as a response from the web service. MCR unit can operate online or offline. For offline mode, device can operate using blacklist and whitelist files. All transactions are stored in log file which is transferred to server via FTP when device goes online. Device is capable of downloading all parameter files and firmware updates via FTP. Field firmware updates are done quite easily by placing the file to a proper FTP server and adjusting clients to server parameters. MCR unit has two distinct relay outputs to control turnstiles, slide doors, barriers etc. Web service integration support is available upon request. Device has outstanding performance for not only local network operations, instead, internet based distributed usage is encouraged. miFinder software is available for setting and reading all the parameters of any number of units connected to local area network. miFinder discovers devices by UDP without any prior knowledge of IP or MAC addresses. MCR units may get alias naming with miFinder which makes management easier with large number of readers in buildings or campuses. The software can be downloaded from here or you can download from product links section. For more information please refer to the product datasheet.

MCR02 / MCR05 Contactless MIFARE Readers

MCR02L-E series contactless card readers are MIFARE® standard devices with all read-write capabilities with graphical LCD screen and Ethernet connection. V800 Contactless MIFARE Validator

V800 is a cost-effective contactless validator for fare collection and payment applications. Device provide secure and high speed transactions, interaction and communication for system integrators and solution providers as a reliable contactless smart card terminal that can easily be interfaced with different cashless payment and access control applications. Main usage area for V800 is public transportation involving ISO/IEC 14443 A/B contactless cards. Device has 4.3" TFT color display with touch screen and real audio output for interaction with users. V800 supports rich communication options including Ethernet, GPRS, RS232 and RS485 etc. V800 is always online and connected to the server through GPRS or Ethernet. Device conveys transaction information to the server including remaining balance, timestamp and location of the ticket action as well as GPS location of the vehicle. V800 is equipped with GPS, enables you to locate the vehicle and set fare flexibly with reference to the location or distance. Each transaction data is also stored in its internal 4GB flash memory. The memory capacity is more than enough for storing 5 years transaction records and blacklists. V800 can also send all archived transaction data upon request by the server. Validator can operate in offline mode when Ethernet/GSM/GPRS connectivity is lost temporary. Device involve a SAM card slot for holding keys to ensure the security and integrity of the transactions. Validator completes typical transaction within 0.15 second including recovery and backup, after the presentation of the card. Special Anti-collision algorithm effectively prevents the collision conflict when the user presented more than one contactless cards together. A software development kit is available for quick and easy development and integration with different ticketing and payment applications.

MCR08-OEM MIFARE Reader

MCR08 is a high performance and flexible ISO14443-A OEM contactless smart card reader terminal supporting read-write capabilities. The terminal is designed to integrate into Vending Machines that support MDB standard and also provides easy integration in different cashless payment and access control systems, such as turnstile gates, time and attendance systems, value added machines. It is fully compliant to MDB interface standard. The terminal series can support all industry standard communication interfaces such as RS232, RS485, Ethernet, USB and MDB. The terminal is based on the 13.56 MHz contactless technology and is fully compatible with the entire MIFARE® family, as well as supporting ISO14443A contactless standart. The terminal comes with an ethernet connectivity and has extensive software support package that is optimized for easy integration. MCR08 terminals meet the demand for secure and high speed transactions, providing system integrators and solution providers a reliable contactless smart card terminal that can easily be interfaced with different cashless payment and acces control applications. The terminal is also available with RS485, RS232. MCR08 ethernet based terminals can run in different modes. One of common usage is that upon RFID card detected by the reader, it will send a GET request to the web server and requesting the page such as request.php. The server responses with standart HTTP reply to the reader to control relay, LCD or buzzer. MCR08 ethernet based terminals can operate online or offline. For offline mode, terminal can be operated using blacklist or whitelist. Transactions are stored in log file which is transferred to server when device goes online. The terminal is capable of downloading all parameter files and updating the firmware over the network. MCR08 unit has two distinct relay outputs and optional 4 digital inputs to control turnstiles, slide doors, barriers etc. The MCR08 series allows for stand-alone use via industry standard interconnects or system integration via standard 3.81 mm terminal plugs, further reducing the need for additional hardware costs. miFinder software is available for setting and reading all the parameters of any number of units connected to local area network.
